No Bake Peanut Butter Energy Bars

The fourth recipe of the Expected Party Cuisine series is packed full of energy and protein, perfect for a midday pick me up!

This recipe is courtesy of a nutritionist whom I met through CIWA. About CIWA, it is a community for women to improve their English skills and help them to get accustomed to the Canadian lifestyle. Working with the group of women is a rewarding and humbling experience and on top of all of that we get opportunities to get lots of useful information related to womens rights, women and family health, child rearing etc.
Jacinta Bonaparte (nutritionist) came to our site and treated us to a nutritious and healthy lunch, snack and dessert. She also gave us lots of information on eating healthy, reading labels, she is a fantastic resource.

The recipe that I want to share with you today is her recipe for Peanut Butter Balls.

Yummy!

My husband loves them!

These are just the tastiest little things and I choose to make these over buying the grocery store granola bars. Jacinta has posted all of the nutritional facts on her blog.
If you decide to make them, make sure to hop on over to her blog and tell her how much you love them!
Jacinta also changed my mind on Tofu, she made a fantastic all vegetarian Tofu and mixed vegetable rice dish that was to die for! Thanks again for such fantastic ideas Jacinta!
Enjoy!
