Mod Master Bedroom

I need to get on the regular blogging band wagon again. Its been too long.
After a few weeks of cough/cold for my entire family, I topped it off with puncturing my ear drum and about 10days of antibiotics later, I feel refreshed and ready to go.
Do you want to see the second master bedroom moodboard? It is new and improved. I took Sarah Richardson's advice and started with a jump off point.
The jump off point for this room was striped Kijiji Chair which I refinished a while back. That fabric is just to die for. So I went with it and created a whole scheme that coincides with this chair.
After spying quite a few end table and lighting options we finally decided on ones that worked with the design and came up with these.
Everything else is still in limbo.
About the mod mirror: This was a last minute addition brought in from the living room.
While nesting during pregnancy, I learned about the mod mirror through bhg.com and I completed a larger scale version about two and a half years ago.
The mod mirror has been hanging above our living room sectional ever since. It has found a new home, hung in front of the bed.  It reflects the light around the room without being too imposing to reflect our faces. I don't want to wake up one night, disoriented and confuse my own face for an intruder. Its Feng Shui meets budget friendly, Ladies and Gentlemen.
I really like it and when we get those frosted glass end tables, the frosted glass will pair nicely with the etched glass. Another page from Sarah Richardson's book of design. Repeat wood tones and elements to create a cohesive look.
Other than that, everything else needs to be bought, DIYed or repurposed from another part of our home.  So here it is again, The New and Improved Mod Master Bedroom Moodboard:

We already DIYed the headboard which I can't wait to share with you over the coming weeks.
I'll keep you updated as things go along!
Up next on the Expected Party, Dated Coffee Table turned Entryway Bench!
Happy Decorating!
