J’adore Home 3- Leather walls


About a month ago, I was in Edmonton visiting my fantastic MIL at her apartment. During these two weeks, I was able to get in a quick trip to the mall. Apart from clothes shopping, I came across a lovely wall treatment in one of the change rooms of a women’s retail shop. Leather wall tiles. Let’s just say I fell in love. I asked the salesperson for the actual details but she had no idea about the installation process or the designer details. So no luck there but still, the leather walls were really inspiring.

Symmetry in the Living Room

I’m attracted to symmetry in every space. Call me traditional, but the look of two lamps and two matching side tables flanking each side of the bed is definitely my preference over an eclectic or asymmetrical set-up. Maybe it’s that each item has a partner or that the space feels whole.

Revived Round Back Chairs

Remember those two round backs I was beaming about a month and half ago. Well, they sat there and sat there until about two weeks ago. Then we got down to business and finished the whole ‘symmetrical’ look. They are finally done and they loom great in their final resting spot.
